About
Christy Culver is the Program Manager for NIVF where she oversees the creation and implementation of the workforce development program. This program is focused on training events and community-building strategies for current and future workers in independent venues. In addition to her work with NIVF, she serves as Artist Relations for a venue in Fort Collins, CO. Previously, Christy was the Artist Relations Manager for an outdoor summer concert series and Bohemian Nights, an annual three-day music festival.
Christy began her career in the music industry at the ripe age of 13, working as an usher in an independent music venue in Branson, MO. She continued to hold various roles within venues and eventually branched out, contributing choreography in film and TV. Christy has a rich history in the music scene, with a father as a country music singer, a mother as an artist and venue manager. That rich history stayed in the family and trickled down to her young adult kids. She managed and helped provide development opportunities for their band; being instrumental in getting four songs placed in sync on MTV shows. Christy loves the collision of her upbringing and her career purpose.
