    I spent some time with Civil Air Patrol which is an Auxiliary of the United States Airforce. Learning about planning for disasters and being trained and certified for communications and navigation. Civil Air Patrol volunteers time during crisis from locating missing people to helping in disasters like hurricanes. It was very educational how by air, land, and water we can locate people.

  • Data-Tech DPI-SSL Roll Out Projects for Dell Sonicwall appliances

    I am the lead engineer for deploying Dell Sonicwall Deep Packet Inspection SSL(DPI-SSL) to small/medium businesses and enterprise level corporations. This technology is helping to inspect secure traffic going in and out of the Sonicwall appliance to help prevent infections and breaches through SSL connections.

  • COLGroup

    Deployment of 8 Sonicwall TZ105 to restaurants. For PCI Compliance I separated the back office and POS networks as well as installed failover 4G LTE cards so when the main WAN goes down credit card processing can still be done over 4G air card.

  • Atz Defender

    Deployment of Dell Defender 2 factor authentication with hard tokens for workstations and mobile vpn connections to sonicwalls.

  • BCE of TB

    Installed a raid controller in an Apple Xserve webserver. Added more storage, setup raid 5 and restored using time machine. Setup FTP server on windows web server and routed traffic for both web servers and ftp through firewall.

  • AHC

    OpenEMR was being hosted by Amazon EC2. I was not able to move the virtual due to permissions. I used a vmware OpenEMR appliance that I converted to Hyper-V. After the conversion I upgraded Ubuntu 8.04 to 10.04. I copied the data from EC2 to my virtual machine and imported the mysql databases. Imported the sites into Apache created new user account and reset the permissions to everything so mysql and apache had access to the files. All patient records are accessible.

    Moving client to our hosted cloud environment. I worked with Sage to get Mas90, FAS, and FRX. to work in terminal services. Installed the databases on a data cluster. I also had to get Ezclaims and donor perfect working on terminal server. After the client testing I was able to get all software working and load balancing between terminal servers with 2x. Due to the printers all listening to port 9100 and its not adjustable I had to setup NAT Translation to be able to print to all the printers…
