What do you do if your temporary team needs motivation?
Understanding the project goals will help build unity around the organizational mission, but it's also important to foster a sense of belonging for temporary workers. Often, these individuals will migrate from project to project, and a long term lack of engagement as a member of the team will inevitably, and understandably, lead to a transactional attitude which can lower attention to detail and quality outcomes. Investing time and energy to build team relationships remains a critical enabler to successful organizational outcomes, even when your workforce or project team is temporary or multi project.

Leadership Navigation best describes our mission. John Maxwell’s forth leadership law is The Law of Navigation: The secret to the Law of Navigation is preparation. When you prepare well, you convey confidence and trust to people. Leaders who are good navigators are capable of taking their people just about anywhere (John Maxwell’s, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership). Over a combined 200 years of documented leadership experience has been used to construct the programs below to navigate Enlisted Leaders towards successful leadership. Participants of our programs cover the spectrum from minimal leadership experience to many years of experience. Some participate looking to learn to lead, others to hone leadership acumen, and some to figure out what they are not doing right. But all thirst to be better leaders.
Our mission: “To cultivate Enlisted Leaders who deliver character, trust, confidence, and empathy.”
We do this through four signature programs:
– Leading Petty Officer Academy leadership growth workshop for enlisted E5.
– The Foundry leadership class for enlisted E6.
– Chief Petty Officer Legacy Academy for Chief Petty Officer Selectees (a “selectee” is a Navy First Class Petty Officer/E6 selected for advancement to Chief Petty Officer).
– Chief Petty Officer Pride Day
– Partner opportunities to maintain Navy enlisted force heritage and traditions -
