Here's how you can successfully steer your team through organizational change.
Communication is critical during times of change. As a leader, when communicating information about change, work to share stories and tell narratives to connect with people emotionally, help them remember information and better understand the reason behind the change. Our brains are wired to look for patterns, and stories provide a clear narrative that is proven to help us better understand and retain information. Further our brains have evolved to create an emotional connection to stories which makes it easier for us to remember and connect with the information that is provided through them.

Here's how you can embody the key traits of a resilient leader in today's competitive market.
Embracing change starts with a shift in mindset. Developing a ChangeMindset, can help you develop the capability to not only embrace change, but thrive during times of change. To develop a ChangeMindset the foundational step is heightening your awareness to your relationship with change. In other words, start to recognize the conditioned patterns and behaviors that show up for you during times of uncertainty. Recognizing your temperament of frame of mind for dealing with uncertainty and change, can lead you to seeing change as an invitation to innovate.

Here's how you can stay informed about emerging trends and technologies as a future leader.
Experimentation is a great way to keep up with trends. The challenge though is our relationship with failure. In science, failed experiments are considered good data. In our organizations however, we fear failure, so experimentation is hard. If you want to apply the theory of 'experiment often' to keep up with trends you have reframe your relationship to failure. Even more so, you have to build an environment in your organizations where people feel and believe that failure is acceptable, failure creates good data, and most importantly failure is a sign of progress.
