Early preeclampsia risk factor screening is vital: identification of risk factors early in pregnancies and the initiation of prophylactic measures, such as low dose aspirin, can contribute to better outcomes for mothers-to-be and their babies. It’s important to take the time to educate and counsel patients on the importance of adhering to an low dose aspirin protocol, as many may not understand the risks of preeclampsia and the safety and benefits of taking low dose aspirin. Cervical Cancer is no longer the leading cause of cancer death for women in the United States due largely in part to women receiving regular PAP Tests. The PAP Test detects cervical precancer before it turns into cancer. That early detection is key in prevention and treatment.
