It was devised and founded by Ian MacQuillin in 2014 and was provided with its first home by Adrian Sargeant at Jen Shang at the Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy at Plymouth University, where it sat from April 2014 until March 2019. In March 2019 Rogare was established as a independent organisation.

    The reality is that there is a considerable amount of philosophical, scientific, and experiential knowledge that needs to be obtained to become a competent, sustainable, and lucrative fundraiser. By offering a full 24-month curriculum, the Des Moines Fundraising Institute is filling the fundraising gap and elevating the next generation of fundraising professionals.

    In just a short time, we've had the honor of training dozens of fundraisers from dozens of local organizations!
