This event attracts over 1,100 ticket holders, local media and dignitaries from across the country.   • Electronic Health Record Implementation-Phase 2: EHR

    -

    I am the project lead for configuring and implementing the School Based Clinic Program's first-ever EHR. Phase 2 is the Electronic Health Record (patient charting, assigning CPT and diagnosis codes, etc). I am also the lead trainer for all SBC end-users.
    Implementation went well and we are already looking to update to the latest software version.

    Summary: Delivering health information and getting students into the clinic takes more than a poster on the wall or handing them a brochure. Hear how a Minneapolis program is using Facebook, QR codes and more to reach out to students by providing sensitive health information in ways traditional media is ineffective.
    Session was ranked as one of the most valuable sessions of the entire convention…

    I am the project lead for configuring and implementing the School Based Clinic Program's first-ever EHR. Phase 1 is the Electronic Practice Management system (provider scheduling, encounter creation and charges). I am also the lead trainer for all SBC end-users.
    We went live 2-weeks ahead of schedule with very few issues!
