Brandii Grace

The Los Angeles chapter is one of the major US chapters of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA).

- Member of the Los Angeles Chapter Board as of 2010
- Created and coordinated local IGDA events in LA & SoCal.
- Served as liaison for the Writer's Guild and SAG/AFTRA.
- Fought to make the industry safer and more accepting for LGBTQ+ individuals and women.
- Taught workshops on game design and development for the USC Global Game Jam.

- Moved a homeless family out of the community park and into a local family shelter.
- Fought a hate group targeting vulnerable members of the community.

During high school, I was one of two founders/directors for the Student Service Network - a system that operated across the school district to help connect students with volunteer opportunities. I received a major award for this work.

I did a LOT of volunteer work in high school for a wide variety of organizations and events. I was so active in outreach and advocacy that when I graduated I was offered a job as their PR director - I decided to go to college instead.

Every year I volunteer to be a judge for this prestigious competition.
I've served as a judge for many industry competitions, including the IGF and IndieCade.
