With 30 years of experience in the banking industry, I am currently the State President of the Atlanta Division at SouthState Bank, where I oversee the commercial banking operations and strategic growth initiatives in the region. I am also an executive coach, with a diploma from Emory University, and I leverage my coaching skills to develop and empower my team, as well as to foster strong relationships with clients and partners. Previously, I was the Executive Vice President at Cadence Bank, where I led the integration of the commercial banking teams after the merger with State Bank and Trust Company, and achieved record levels of revenue and profitability. Before that, I was the Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Manager at SunTrust, where I managed a portfolio of over $2.5 billion in loans and deposits, and won multiple awards for customer satisfaction and performance. I have extensive expertise in corporate finance, due diligence, and mergers and acquisitions, and I have successfully closed several large and complex deals in various industries. I am passionate about delivering excellence, innovation, and value to my clients and my organization, and I am always eager to learn and grow in my field. I am proud to be part of SouthState Bank, a leading financial institution that shares my vision of building trust, integrity, and community in the banking sector.
