Our rescue is made up of a handful of dedicated volunteers that pride themselves in dog care, training, fundraising and communication with the public on responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. The dogs th...at come into our care are taken to the vet for a check-up, heart worm testing and all current vaccinations the dog may need. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption if this has not already been done previously. The dogs are place in a foster home for a minimum of three week prior to being available for adoption. During this time the dogs are evaluated by the foster parents on temperment, likes and dislikes, whether they like cats or children and their energy level and drive. The foster parents also work with the animals on basic obedience training and house manners as well. Show less
