  • Tyler Junior College - Nursing and Health Sciences Building

    - Present

    This project is a 135,000 SF new construction building housing the the Nursing and Allied Health programs for Tyler Junior College. The building will house a Dental Clinic, Health Clinic, mock teaching hospital wing, classrooms, testing center, students and teacher spaces, specialized therapy labs and a terrain park. My roles on this project include project management and production team member. The project is scheduled to open January of 2015.

  • UNT HSC Regional Simulation Center

    16,000 SF Renovation of the Gibson Lewis Library at the UNT Fort Worth Campus. This project provides an immersive, technological and safe environment for SIMULATION education. The project includes analog, digital and virtual reality simulation as teaching modalities for the campus. The Regional SIM Center will not only be able to be used by students and faculty but also practitioners continuing to learn new and safer techniques.     16,000 SF Renovation of the Gibson Lewis Library at the UNT Fort Worth Campus. This project provides an immersive, technological and safe environment for SIMULATION education. The project includes analog, digital and virtual reality simulation as teaching modalities for the campus. The Regional SIM Center will not only be able to be used by students and faculty but also practitioners continuing to learn new and safer techniques. With both a 2D and 3D virtual reality rooms, 14 Exam Rooms, a multi-functional Procedural Skills room, and an Activities of Daily Living Lab this Center is at the forefront of educational spaces in Texas.

    This project is 114,500 SF of new construction consisting of three stories, each dedicated to a different academic department at Texas A&M Commerce; Health & Human Performance, Nursing and Biology. Entering the building the occupants will experience a two story lobby that looks into a state of the art Teaching Kitchen geared towards healthy cooking and education. This project also a teaching gymnasium, yoga studio and includes a Health and Human Performance lab that studies the bodies…

    This project is 114,500 SF of new construction consisting of three stories, each dedicated to a different academic department at Texas A&M Commerce; Health & Human Performance, Nursing and Biology. Entering the building the occupants will experience a two story lobby that looks into a state of the art Teaching Kitchen geared towards healthy cooking and education. This project also a teaching gymnasium, yoga studio and includes a Health and Human Performance lab that studies the bodies biometric functions during different activities. Also part of this facility are 2 Ten Bed Skills Labs and a Health Assessment Lab to educate students studying under the Nursing Department. The top floor is solely dedicated to Biology Research with two open lab environments that are flanked by lab support spaces. General and public use spaces are organized throughout the building for open and enclosed study, a shared Terrace above the Lobby, and general use classrooms designed for 360 degree learning.

  • Carpenter Park Pool Expansion

    -

    The Carpenter Park Pool Expansion is a 14,325 SF addition to the existing Recreation Center adding the function of aquatics to the facility. This project includes pool functions to serve both an elderly and youth occupant with lap lanes, current channel, toddler area and water slides.

  • Ursuline Academy Athletic Field

    -

    Design of a single Athletic Field for Ursuline Academy to play women's soccer and lacrosse. My roles on this project include; Project Management, Design, Architecture, Consultant Coordination, and Planned Development Procedures.

  • Facility for Rare Isotope Beams

    -

    This project is a joint venture between Michigan State University and the Department of Energy. The facility is 213,000 SF research building dedicated to charting new elements on the periodic table using a linear accelerator in the shape of a paper clip. My tasks on this project were focused on general production where I worked on drawings and coordiantion from stairs, details, radiation shielding, accelerator conduit banks, waterproofing and the overhead bridge cranes.

  • St. Mark's School of Texas Pergola Restoration

    This was a small project in which St. Mark's wanted to renovate the school's Pergola which front the main adminstrative building on their campus. My roles on this project included, design, project management, production leader, and construction administrator. All though this was a smalll project I gained valuable experience from this being my first project management opportunity to really work on all things related to architectural proejct managment from sales forms to budget hours.

  • Wesley Prep Renovation

    This project was a renovation of an existing school associated with a local church in Dallas Texas. The renovation was inclusive to the entire school and my roles on the project were Project Management, Prodcution Leader, Consultant Coordination, and Code Research. This was a multi-story renovation of 45,000 SF set out in different phases.

  • Ursuline Academy Music Hall Addition

    The Music Hall Addition was the second LEED accredited building on Ursuline Academy's Highschool Campus. This project was awarded LEED Silver by USGBC under the LEED for School's Rating System. This porject is a 3,500 SF building housing a dedicated department for musical instruction at Ursuline Academy.

  • Ursuline Academy - French Family Science, Math & Technology Center

    -

    This proejct was a 69,000 SF, two story building that houses the schools math, science, and technology departments. My roles on this project included drafting, detailing, design, consultant coordination, LEED documentation and construction administration. The project was awarded LEED Gold by USGBC.

  • Ursuline Academy Renovation

    -

    This project was a renovation of an existing wing at Ursuline Academy's school campus. The renovation consisted of work on two floors and totals approximately 14,400 SF. My roles on this project included Production Leader, Code Analysis, TAS Analysis, and Construction Administration.

  • Green Building Resource Center Design Competition

    This design competition was hosted by the United States Green Building Council Dallas Texas Chapter, the North Texas Green Council. The competition was to design a chapter headquarters that could also serve the community as a resource and educational tool for the community on all things sustainability. Located in the La Bajada neigborhood in East Dallas my teams design focused on scale and using proven sustainable techniques to design a facility that could and would be a beacon for the…

    This design competition was hosted by the United States Green Building Council Dallas Texas Chapter, the North Texas Green Council. The competition was to design a chapter headquarters that could also serve the community as a resource and educational tool for the community on all things sustainability. Located in the La Bajada neigborhood in East Dallas my teams design focused on scale and using proven sustainable techniques to design a facility that could and would be a beacon for the community. My teams was the selected winner of this competition.

    This is an amazing 16,000 square feet renovation project at the Fort Worth UNT campus creating a state of the art flexible Simulation Center built for the future. The project includes multiple flexible lab environments that can change daily based upon the active simulation and teaching taking place.
