“When first entering Calypso in 2010 Summer, Bhavin was just hired 3 months before myself. Bhavin's rapid progress, with his can-do attitude, led him to mentor a class of 12 recent college graduates. Bhavin served as a core of Calypso Leadership Instructors, tasked to provide a one-month full day comprehensive training program, in San Francisco HQ, covering front-middle-back office. He was energetic and enthusiastic about Derivatives. Bhavin taught us fundamentals in areas such as: FX, Options, Swaps, Config, Workflow, Pricing, Market Data and Curve Construction in both theory and applied Calypso system language. These new financial concepts were challenging with a steep learning curve, however, if we didn't understand the material, he would make extra time for us early morning, or after hours. The training sessions were fundamental in ensuring my success at Calypso. After almost five years, I'm still with Calypso and even though Bhavin has moved into Consulting for Calypso Banks' clients, he & I still keep in touch in San Francisco, and we continue to hangout in 2015 given his sociable, helpful, outgoing personality. ”
