I have been nominated by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for their Man & Woman of the Year campaign and wanted to share some information with you and ask your support. The campaign is a fundraising competition which kicks off April 2nd and runs through June 13th with a Grand Finale Gala at The Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. I only have 10 weeks to raise as much as I possibly can, so this is your call to action to help myself and my team to raise over our goal of $60,000! It’s been done…

It’s been done before and with your help, I intend on winning!

I’ve been given this unique opportunity to make a very real difference in the lives of patients and their families. I’ve personally seen many individuals close to my heart who have battled all forms of cancer, including my younger brother, Matthew, who at age 27 was diagnosed with and fought to overcome lymphoma through blood cancer breakthroughs and treatments supported through the research that LLS funds.

I can truly appreciate the importance of an organization that devotes $0.79 out of every dollar raised to research. In fact, LLS has invested over $975MM in blood cancer research over their 60 years in operation, so I am beyond honored to be nominated for this campaign.
