What are the best practices and tips for using storytelling and data in value selling online and offline?
As a value practitioner myself and having started/led many value functions over time, I see this craft as a mix of two equally important aspects - data as the science and storytelling as the art. Both of these aspects need to have the customer at the center as a foundational premise, but value data without the storytelling context or a value story without credible data to make it trustworthy do not go a long way.

What are the key elements of a value proposition statement and how do you write one?
In my experience, testing your value proposition statement with some of your trusted existing customers is often a good first step. Value lies in the eyes of the beholder and who better than your customer to validate if your statement captures how they see benefits to them or not.

How do you develop and maintain a value selling mindset and culture?
Additionally, moving to a value selling culture is often a transformation for organizations. To keep this culture alive and thriving, it requires strong executive sponsorship from the C-suite internally, as well as bottoms-up success in the trenches where the field has had a taste of success using the approach in their accounts. Getting both of these going is a potent ingredient to a sustainable value selling culture.
