    The goal of the GTA is to continue the progression of green work trucks through:
    -Showcasing green trucks and technology developments
    -Serving as the resource for legislative, regulatory and funding initiatives relevant to green truck development
    -Supplying market data and technical resources relevant to green truck development
    -Sharing timely news on green truck products and initiatives.

    The mission of the GTA is to improve the efficiency and productivity of work trucks through the development and deployment of strategies to reduce diesel and gasoline consumption and the associated environmental impacts.

    The GTA supports a number of Technology Councils that represent specific segments within the green truck industry.

    The GTA’s affairs are governed by a Board of Directors elected by the GTA membership. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting policy and developing strategy for the organization; it also plays an active role in developing programs and services.

    Since 1964, the NTEA has been the leading association for the work truck industry, dedicated to supporting the companies that build the world’s work trucks.

    The NTEA serves as the hub for all segments of the industry, offering expert knowledge, technical support, strategic resources and business opportunities. The Association currently boasts a membership of nearly 1,600 chassis manufacturers, body and equipment manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, related industry firms and end users.

    Echo Automotive, Inc., won The Work Truck Show 2014 Green Award for its EchoDrive bolt-on hybrid electric kit for fleet vehicles. The award was presented last week during The Work Truck Show 2014 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN. This is the second year in a row that EchoDrive was honored at The Work Truck Show: the product won the Editor's Choice Award for new product innovation at the 2013 event.
