I hate dangling 'speed' in front of people bc I know how frustrated people are (this market sucks!), but this truly was a special, refined process. ⚒ Took the brief > presented a stand-out candidate > interviewed over 5 business days > offer! 🙀 It was wild but in the best way! Staffing firms are employers. They employ thousands for companies and handle payroll, insurance, and much more becoming the "employer of record". Staffing firms post jobs. Also...Recruiting firms do staffing. Staffing firms do Recruiting. Staffing firms and Recruiting firms post jobs and that includes on organic job feeds. Even if those hires only account for 5-10% of the hires, those job posts are important. In Florida alone, On average, 1M+ temporary workers are employed weekly by staffing firms in Florida. They deserve to post organic jobs too. If there are not enough results from the organic free job post, we, the staffing firm (we the employer) sponsor the jobs and spend money. This is not about what a Recruiting firm should or should not do, and how posting jobs is only for the weak...and only the strong recruiters hunt and poach directly...again not my point here, and that is a separate topic. This is about the idea that job posts are a part of the hiring process for everyone who hires directly and staffing/recruiting firms hire directly and in many cases are the employer of record and they should be treated like an employer as well and have the same access to post basic jobs for free on the organic job feeds across America....Linkedin, Indeed, etc.

NOW, for the biggest misconception of them all... 🤔 (Longer read but I promise it's worth it!) #6 STAFFING AGENCIES AREN'T NEEDED IF YOU HAVE AN HR DEPARTMENT. 🛑👀 This is often the biggest and most frequent objection I receive when pursuing new partnerships. So I'd like to tackle this from two perspectives: 1️⃣ When speaking to a hiring manager I usually aim to learn what matters most to him/ her & I might ask the following: 🔹 Does your internal team specialize in tech? 🔹 How are the candidates you have been receiving from HR? Do they ever struggle to find the right experience or cultural fit? 🔹 How much time are you spending on the interview process? Time is money and I intend to save you both with prompt quality and delivery. We make it easy on hiring managers so they can focus on mission-critical tasks. 🔹 Does HR handle the process of hiring "high-end consultants" with specific niche expertise? If not, there is potential that we might be a good fit or a value-added extension to their efforts. ✴ Ultimately my most successful partnerships have come from a chance to prove my worth. I learned what is important to managers and followed through on my promise to deliver. Then those managers vouched for my efforts and gave me a shot to solidify an ongoing partnership. ✴ 2️⃣ When speaking with HR or TA leaders, I want to make their lives easier as well. Different questions are asked but a similar mentality applies. 🔸 How much time are you spending on difficult-to-fill positions?
