I autonomously recruited 10 other volunteers to mentor students in the cohort. The Cotopaxi lead nominated me for the Lieutenant Governor's Volunteer Recognition Certificate because of my efforts.

I autonomously recruited 10 other volunteers to mentor students in the cohort. The Cotopaxi lead nominated me for the Lieutenant Governor's Volunteer Recognition Certificate because of my efforts.

Over the course of the 4-month program, I volunteered with Cotopaxi, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, V School, and Code.org to teach the kids foundational code structures and HTML. Two scholarships were offered to students of the cohort to attend V School. If they perform well, they may receive an internship from one of the participating companies.
