“Aisha Weeks has worked for the City of Cleveland Department of Community Development since 2015 and I supervised her in my role as Director of the Department. During my time with the City, I relied heavily on her counsel and expertise in order to manage the Department. She is a true professional. Aisha Week’s work and her contributions to Cleveland’s community development initiatives have been exemplary. I have seen her expand the scope of the Banking Relations efforts from 3-4 banks to a comprehensive engagement of all 14+ banks that have retail branches within the City of Cleveland. Aisha has taken on a leadership role in the Cleveland Bank On Coalition, an effort to create banking products that are not predatory and meet the needs of low income residents. The City of Cleveland is an official partner in this effort and Aisha led the kick-off campaign in 2021. The work she undertakes represents millions in commitments by local banks through the Community Reinvestment Ordinance. She makes banking services more accessible for those with the least means in Cleveland. I can state without reservation that Aisha would add value to any organization that she became involved with. Feel free to contact me if you require further information.”
