How can you persuade your team to adopt a new process over email?
Send an email that you need to have a face to face interaction of some Sort. 70% of effective persuasive communication happens in the non data channel (not facts/details and written words) but in the non verbal and emotional queues we give off back and forth. Tone, non verbal, my quick response to your body language and face telling me If you’re picking up what I’m putting down… Unless it’s a really small change- being in front of folks is the only way to really effectively persuade and change perceptions. Email Is a dangerous often misread echo chamber

How can you incorporate de-escalation training into your crisis management plan?
De-escalation training shouldn’t be for just crisis management- but for every day employee optimization. Every day people experience stressors in their personal and professional lives that trigger subconscious and automatic emotional response patterns. These excessive defense tendencies wreak havoc on productivity, interpersonal dynamics, and people’s own health/wellness. Companies need to train on the root cause issues that cause people to react the way they do. It’s not enough to tell people what they should do under Adversity, They should be provided months of foundational work to train themselves how to label, identify, and shift off of stress and adversity responses, and to understand common ones of others. It’s all about reps

It’s void of blame and is a blameless autopsy process where gifts or opportunities arise 4) Mutual accountability …..
