Using my own personal stories with a balance of facts and statistics embedded throughout the presentation. It is helpful to use a diverse array of methods to capture the audience's attention and contribute to them feeling a greater sense of connection and understanding - i.e graphics, pictures, video clips, and most importantly this is about being strategic, not forceful.
