Why Did We Create The Z-RID Lite? FAA Remote ID Compliance was unexpected for many drone pilots and comes with an associated cost to retrofit a broadcast module to existing drones. We heard your feedback and decided to take out the extra features that we included in the original Z-RID so that we can offer a low-cost module to make compliance with the new FAA regulation less of a burden.

We met the first cohort in person last Thursday and had the opportunity to give them our backstory and introduce both the Pendleton UAS Range staff and the mentors we brought in. We also walked them through the expectations of the Accelerator, went through the curriculum our mentors will be teaching them throughout the 12-week program, and explained to them what the Pendleton Investor Round-Up is and how they’ll be ready to pitch their technology by then.
