The first week of Camp Snohomish is underway! Dozens of campers arrived at camp, eager to build new friendships and create lifelong memories. The Y has committed to sending 91 campers to overnight camp this summer through the Campership Fund ant we are already at 80% of our goal! But we're not done...we need $11,000 to ensure that every child has the opportunity to attend camp. Your donation will make a significant impact in a child's life. About us
The YMCA of Snohomish County has been serving and strengthening our communities since 1901 and has the long-standing relationships and physical presence not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting personal and social change. The Y offers programs, services, and initiatives to nurture the potential of children and teens, improve the nation’s health and well-being, and provide opportunities to give back and support neighbors. Our cause and passion is to strengthen our communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We support our communities through six membership branches, dozens of child care locations and youth development program sites, and an affiliate relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County. The Y nurtures the potential of every youth and teen, improves the community's health and well-being, and provides opportunities to give back and support neighbors. The Y is for everyone. We believe that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, welcomed, confident, connected, and secure.

And another huge shout out to Fortive for also choosing the Everett Family YMCA as one of their Annual Day of Caring projects. Fortive employees spent the day at our facility beautifying and cleaning up the grounds for our members and our community to enjoy. We are so appreciative of the continued support from our community partners!

Volunteer coaches make our work possible. Thank you for volunteering your time, Jennifer! We appreciate you and your leadership!
We wrapped up our 4th season of YMCA basketball, & my 1st as a head coach! So proud of “ The Squad” this season. This was a very spirited bunch 😂. They were really challanged this season ( most had played and I had 6 returning kids), but they rose to the occassion! Here is the part where I tell you we have a break… just kidding! I am volunteering with the Monroe YMCA’s Miracle Leauge this weekend, and Tay already had skills and drills for football today. We stay ready 🥳!

Thanks to generous grant funding from Y-USA, we were able to successfully provide vital water safety education to 646 children across the county. The Safety Around Water (SAW) program, which runs every year during the last two weeks of June, aims to equip children with essential skills to ensure their safety in and around water.
