Getting Real about Men's Health "I want to show that we can talk about health, we can check in on each other and we can get exams and screenings to ensure we stick around for ourselves and our loved ones." Bertram L. Lawson II, President & CEO of YGBW ------------------------------------------------------ As part of his ongoing Health Seeker's Journey, Bertram recently sat down with members of the YGBW Board of Directors to have a discussion about many aspects of health and wellness. Their conversation is open, honest and inspirational. We hope you will listen in. Thank you to Hugh Algeo, Rodney Goldston MBA, Scott Heinerichs and Michael Troupe for your leadership and willingness to share. https://lnkd.in/eZVcuYTy

“It is easy to take water safety skills for granted, but the reality is that many adults in our community do not know how to swim or save a loved one from drowning.” John Holets, Director of Aquatics for the Jennersville YMCA -------------------- With pool and beach season upon us, we recently hosted a bi-lingual water safety skills program for adults at the offices of LCH Health and Community Services and in the pool at our Jennersville branch. The best part? The program was free of charge, thanks to the inspiring fundraising efforts of Madelyn DiBonaventura, a student at Villa Maria Academy.
