With an annual operating budget of $5.5 million, the organization’s revenue has grown steadily, by more than 30%, over the last decade. Great news! WSKG's Expressions, won an Emmy at the 66th Annual New York State Emmy Awards in the 'long form Arts Entertainment Series' category. Andy Pioch, the producer, accepted the award on stage in NYC Saturday night with Alyssa Micha: videographer and editor, Michael Micha: audio engineer, and Adara Alston: host, were all in attendance. A collection of segments from the 15th and 16th seasons of the show were submitted for consideration. These segments included music performances by Samite, the Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, and a profile of dulcimer maker Bernd Krause. Congratulations to Andy, Alyssa, Mike, Adara, and everyone who makes Expressions possible!
