    Design Specialist/Drone Pilot at Wright-Pierce

Had the opportunity to capture some pictures and video last week during the construction of a new water tank for the Bangor Water District. It takes a great amount of detail and time to lift the precast concrete panels into place. This flight also required FAA authorization as the project location was adjacent to the Bangor International Airport in Bangor, Maine. #WPProjects

The Florida legislature recently signed into law a statewide stormwater rule ratification (Senate Bill 7040). The new law will have direct impacts on stormwater permitting and maintenance. Please contact Wright-Pierce to learn about our stormwater engineering services and how we can help your community prepare for changes in stormwater standards.

PE in Mechanical Systems and Materials

I have never felt more supported and valued at a workplace as I do at Wright Pierce, right now. Let me explain: Over the past few months I have had a challenge focusing while working from home. So up until last week, I was working from the local library most days. After sharing that I was looking to join a co-working club, the CEO was quickly notified. I was asked not to commit to anything out of my own pocket. They would help me with an office space. The CEO immediately assigned one of his direct reports to help me find an executive office suite. And today the company's lease began and I moved in. This quiet window office is in a professional office park. It is just 8 minutes from my home and walking distance to a City Park. As I reflect on what I have been provided, I can't help but realize that on the company org chart my name is at the bottom rung of the ladder and I'm only a part time employee. However, every level of leadership has treated me like an equal and valued member through this process. Thank you #WrightPierce

New England Regional Manager at DN Tanks

I bet you've never seen precast concrete tank wall panels that are this long... well guess what, nobody has because DN Tanks is building the tallest precast, prestressed concrete tank EVER for Bangor Water District in Bangor, Maine. Our tank-building crew has been working tirelessly to erect these massive panels, which weigh in at over 90,000 lbs each!!! We mobilized a 400-ton crawler crane to pick each panel from its casting bed and set them on the tank's spread footing, where they will sit outboard of the embedded PVC waterstop that was cast into the floor. With a much-deserved holiday on deck for our tank-builders, we will be back on-site next week to continue panel picks - please feel free to reach out if you would like to make a site visit to see this incredible project coming together. #BuiltForTheFuture Wright-Pierce
