Recently, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Brisa Hennessy to talk about how she’s preparing for the 2024 Olympics. Beyond her passion for surfing, Brisa is an incredibly multi-talented person with a love for poetry, painting, and cooking. This is one of the many reasons we're so excited to partner with her and the World Surf League (WSL) to champion women in sports and bring global communities together through unique shared experiences.  Brisa and I also chatted with Forbes about our collaboration and how we're working together to elevate these amazing athletes. We discussed the impact they're making in the world of surfing and how they inspire young fans with their personal stories and incredible achievements, both on and off the board. 🔒 2024 Longboard Roster Confirmed The WSL Longboard Tour will host 24 men and 24 women, consisting of Top 10 qualifiers from the 2023 Longboard Tour, Regional Qualifiers, season Wildcards, and event Wildcards. We are happy to announce Cloudbreak, Fiji, as the location for the 2025 WSL Finals. Cloudbreak, located off the island of Tavarua in Fiji, is one of the most perfect and iconic waves in the world. The powerful and consistent break will provide a dynamic challenge to the Final 5 surfers and will be an exciting wave of consequence to determine the 2025 World Champions at the end of the season. This week saw one of the biggest swells ever hit Teahupo'o for the Shiseido Tahiti Pro presented by Outerknown. The world's best put on a show for the ages. Local wildcard and French Olympian Vahine Fierro battled through tough competition to take out the win on the women's side, on a day that also saw Tatiana Weston-Webb become the first woman to ever post a perfect 10 at this venue. On the men's side, Gabriel Medina, John John Florence and Italo Ferreira traded jaw-dropping barrels in an electric finals day that ultimately gave Ferreira his maiden Tahiti Pro title.
