World Education Services applauds the Maryland Board of Nursing and the Welcome Back Center of Suburban Maryland for their leadership and perseverance in driving impactful reform to nursing licensure requirements in the State,” said Esther T. Benjamin, WES CEO and executive director. “We look forward to continuing our shared work to eliminate barriers facing internationally educated nurses in #Maryland and beyond.” As of last month, the Maryland Board of Nursing expanded options for English-language competency examinations. This offers #nurses who hold credentials from outside the U.S. a more inclusive pathway to occupational licensure. We join our partners in Maryland and the internationally trained nurses who will now be able to re-join their profession in celebrating this positive change for all Marylanders!
