Grateful to The Wilson Center for facilitating an opportunity for congressional staff to meet with Estonian and Finnish officials and experts on Euro Atlantic security and hybrid war. Appreciate Ambassador Kent of U.S. Embassy Tallinn, Estonia and Ambassador Hickey of U.S. Embassy Helsinki for briefing our delegation and answering questions on how to further deepen the U.S. relationship with key NATO allies Estonia and Finland. I felt inspired by the tangible whole of society support for Ukraine in these countries. Impressive to see how much Finland has already contributed to the NATO alliance as a new member.
