Earlier this week, we hosted our first Women of the Future Network event, in association with Rio Tinto. Held at their beautiful event space in London, our members gathered to gain insights and tips on how to lead with authenticity, being true to yourself whilst being successful. Thank you to our panel Sukki Menon, Ambassador Josefa Gonzalez Blanco Ortiz Mena, Rhona Hunt and Lucy Yurek for sharing your personal journeys and advice. The session left attendees with great takeaways: ✔ Remember to own your style ✔Being true to yourself doesn’t require being extroverted. Actions often speak louder than words! ✔Take time to reflect on your actions and ask yourself are you being true to yourself? We hope you to see you all again soon! #WOFNetwork #alumnae #members #connecting #newgeneration #authenticity #successful #beyourself Chris MacRae Pinky Lilani CBE DL Aruna Muthoo 🍵 Tina Chen Cathy Yitong Li Chris Southam Isabella Rocha Sabrina Li, PhD Emma Sergeant Coco K. Pinky has founded several awards celebrating women across the globe, building a network of role models to inspire the next generation of girls and women. 💖 We discuss the power of kindness, all-female awards, how to break down the cultural stereotypes and her new book "Some Kind of Wonderful". 📚 And don’t forget to check out the latest “Book for Emmeline”, where I ask Pinky for a book recommendation to inspire my daughter and all children to be fearless, fabulous, and happy. Pinky’s pick is wonderful – I might have to borrow it after Emmeline’s read it! 🔊 LISTEN HERE: https://lnkd.in/eRUeH7t4 Women of the Future Programme #DiversityInBusiness #SupportDiverseTalent #BusinessLeadership

Our NatWest #AWA2024 Chairman’s Award has been awarded to Fawzia Koofi for her extraordinary story and determination for freedom and civil rights! Fawzia is an Afghan politician, writer, and activist. Before the Taliban took over in 2021, she served as the country’s first woman Deputy Speaker of Parliament and was a member of a 21-person peace negotiation team. Despite having to flee the country, she continues to work every day to fight for the rights of Afghan women through her charity, Women for Afghanistan. The judges were truly astonished by her unrelenting drive and the impact she has already made and they are certain will continue to make! They believe she will use this platform as a further way of highlighting the challenges in her country and as a way of mobilising even more support!
