On June 18th, our company participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the completion of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Phase 1. This 25,000 SF renovation of existing ICU space into a brand-new state of the art private room PACU suite is part of an overall 130,000 SF, multiyear Surgical Platform expansion and renovation. This project also included a 3,000 SF infill of an existing roof to connect the two buildings. The new PACU consists of fifty-four (54) private rooms with three (3) nurse stations, a sensory room, expanded waiting area and associated support spaces. Another phase will follow to further expand this area by an additional 7,000 SF.
