Ag lender, farm finance educator, co-author of Fearless Farm Finances: Farm Financial Management Demystified.
Are you a retirement investor who might be interested in using your resources to help a beginning farmer access land? Are you a beginning farmer who is interested in farming on land that you will be able to buy at some point in the future? Either way, the Creative Farmland Access Through Self-Directed IRAs webinar is for you! Join us as investor Mary Gelder and farmer Wyatt Muse describe the way Mary used a self-directed IRA to purchase a small acreage and lease it to Wyatt under an agreement that has him purchasing it over a period of time. I will talk about the financial performance of the arrangement from the investor’s perspective. The webinar is being hosted by Illinois FarmLink, an organization dedicated to connecting farmers and farmland owners. More information and registration for this August 27 webinar can be found at the link below. https://lnkd.in/gxj8Qz75
