Giving back to our community is what Windsor Healthcare strives to do! Ashbrook Care and Rehab, (Scotch Plains) along with Cornell Care and Rehab, (Union), hosted a bagel grab and go event for local Police, Fire, and EMT. Our director of Marketing, Cassidy, set up tables out front so those who were on duty or off were able to pull up to grab a bagel and drink to go! We are always here for our communities sub-acute care and long-term care needs. Our Korean Marketing Director, Hyewon, was a speaker at the ACWA (Asian Christian Women's Association) Senior Center Spring Commencement event. This opportunity to speak in front of our older adults was amazing! Hyewon was able to introduce Buckingham's rehab program, along with their Korean Longterm Care Unit, Mercy Gardens. Our team from Ashbrook provided a thank you lunch and learn to Fresenius Kidney Care Somerset. Ashbrook is licensed to provide peritoneal dialysis and they work with the local PD centers to provide the best possible care to their patients. The team at Fresenius was happy to tell us that even though Ashbrook isn't the closest facility to do PD, they are their preferred location. Cornell Care and Rehab loves being able to engage our residents through morning movement and interactive games. Our Director of Community Marketing, Cassidy, had pizza delivered to both the Plainsboro Fire Department and the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab Fire Department as thanks for their amazing participation in the Merwick Nursing Home parade. Ashbrook Care and Rehab provided an in-service to Davita Dialysis in Plainfield. Ashbrook provides transportation to and from the dialysis center during their stay.
