The 3Rs of sustainability: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. In the push for a smaller environmental impact, the pharmaceutical industry often leans on recycling and reusing materials as its initial efforts. But what if we make the first “R”—Reduce—the highest priority and the first step in drug delivery product development? What if we could make bigger strides with lighter footprints? What if we could achieve more by making less? True sustainability will come when we lean harder into the opportunities offered by complex medications instead of forcing them to bend to our current manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery architectures. Another win for patient-centric care and long-acting therapies! We’re excited to announce that Windgap Medical, Inc. has been selected to collaborate with the Novo Nordisk Bio Innovation Hub through its Co-Creation Greenhouse Program. This collaboration will provide Windgap with funding and access to a formulation and device specialist from Novo Nordisk. Our dual chamber delivery technology revolutionizes the capabilities of both the device and the medicine it contains by stabilizing and simplifying treatment options.
