HELPING ANIMALS LIVE WILDLY 🦡 🦔 🦌 At the heart of Wildly Tasty is a love of our natural world and the animals that live in it 🌍 So this #earthday we wanted to highlight how we are taking action to help protect British wildlife by supporting The Wildlife Aid Foundation donating 1% of our sales to this incredible charity. The Wildlife Aid Foundation is dedicated to the rescue, care, and rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned UK wildlife. When we first came across the charity we were surprised to learn that 1 in 7 species in the UK is faced with extinction in our lifetime, and 50% of all British species are in decline. And while this can be hard to digest, we know that thankfully there are charities fighting hard to protect our precious wildlife. It's not just about a donation though, we love being involved with Wildlife Aid's summer events and volunteering opportunities, helping support their mission to redress the balance between man and nature. Wildly Tasty has won GOLD 🏆 in the Junior Design Awards for Best Children’s Food Brand! When Wildly Tasty was just an idea we knew we had to pour all our love for the environment 🌎 and passion for food 🍝 into our range of kids meals, from the bright playful print on the sleeves (thank you Ana Rojas! ) through to the taste of the meals and the great quality ingredients. It’s taken a lot of work to get here so it’s fantastic to be recognised, especially as a growing business up against the household names of children’s food! Our mission is to inspire a love of nutritious plant-based meals, eating kindly to the planet, the world which our children are growing up in. Thank you to all the judges 🙏 ‘Our judges were super impressed with these hand-prepared, sustainably made, frozen meals that encourage little children to feel excited about plant-based food. The JDA panel agreed that these meals were really tasty and would help broaden kids’ eating horizons in terms of their breadth of plant-based ingredients. The extra special attention paid to sourcing recycled, recyclable or compostable packaging really stood out. What a way to celebrate our first birthday 🥳 Here she is.... our FIRST EVER branded freezer!!! You can now find our entire range of meals at the fabulous Chessington Garden Centre Farm Shop in Surrey. They've been so supportive of our business and we are delighted to be amongst the delicious artisan food and drink products available there. Making it easier for families to eat nutritious planet-friendly meals, satisfying growing tummies with a tasty mix of legumes and veggies 💚

We want to ignite a LOVE of eating wholesome plant-based food from a young age. To do this, we're not focusing on meat alternatives but on nutritious wholefoods like pulses and legumes in all shapes and sizes, from creamy cannellini beans, to juicy chickpeas and nutty green lentils. We're mad about ALL of them! So when we had the opportunity to do a talk in the family area at Vegan Camp Out, the World's largest vegan festival, we jumped at the chance to talk to children and parents about the joys of cooking with pulses. We raved about our top 4 plant-based ingredients that we love to cook with... jackfruit, nutritional yeast, cashew butter and chickpeas... in case you were wondering. Plus we gave away copies of our tasty chickpea cookie dough recipe (link below). It's a great mid-afternoon pick me up for kids after school or nursery that doesn't end in a sugar crash.
