A recent Accenture report emphasizes the need for organizations to have “omni-connected” experiences for employees. But what does omni-connected mean? It is the complete experience of work—of feeling connected, of being included and knowing your value—regardless of physical location. When people feel highly connected to each other, their leaders and workplace, their companies stand to gain a 7.4% revenue boost per year. Accenture’s suggestions for creating more omni-connected experiences are: 1. Instill modern leadership. 2. Grow a thriving culture. 3. Create a flexibility framework. 4. Empower people through technology. Click the link to learn more tips for improving employee connection: https://ow.ly/PwRF50ORaEg

Advice to “follow your passions” may be keeping women out of STEM, one report discovers. In fact, a study found that when both students and adults are advised to follow their passions, they are more likely to choose fields that are consistent with what was expected of their gender (such as women choosing jobs in the arts or healthcare, and men choosing careers in science and business). To break this barrier, it is suggested that individuals be more open-minded when considering their next career path. You never know what your next passion will be!
