We had a great time connecting with WSU alumni at Koch Industries for our Shocker Connection event last night! With more than 500 Wichita State grads working for the company, it was an incredible opportunity to share some of the exciting things happening with our university, both in athletics and throughout the community. We are proud to have these talented alumni representing WSU in the business community.

Shocker alumni are doing incredible things across the country, and our team had a great time connecting with this group at the Capitol last night. We're looking forward to the next Shocker Connection event already!

We had a great time celebrating Alyssa Scott Hoffine, CFRE last night at the Wichita Business Journal’s 40 under 40 celebration dinner. We are so proud of her accomplishments and are lucky to have her talent on our team - congratulations, Alyssa!

Congratulations to AMA Wichita’s 2024 Marketer of the Year, our very own Mary Beth Housdan! Mary Beth is the genius graphic designer behind everything we do, and beyond deserving of this recognition. She’s an exceptional team player, amazing at her craft and a wonderful human on top of that. We are so lucky to have her on our team! 🎉

Today, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Wichita Biomedical Campus, a $300 million joint project between Wichita State University, WSU Tech, and The University of Kansas. Located at the corner of Broadway and William in downtown Wichita, this state-of-the-art facility will be completed by 2026 and will revolutionize health care education, making Wichita a hub for groundbreaking scientific research. It’s a step forward in developing a robust health corridor, creating countless opportunities for nurses, physicians, physician assistants, and medical students to collaborate and improve health outcomes for Kansans. It was an exciting day at the 68th annual Engineering Open House, where the bright minds of Wichita State University students showcased their innovative projects. From cutting-edge designs to collaborative efforts, students wowed attendees and judges with their creativity. Kudos to all who participated, and congratulations on another year of truly innovative work!
