🎆 Happy Independence Day from all of us at Wheeler Bio, Inc.!🎆 To us, the 4th of July not only represents America's founding, but the beginning of a bold attempt to change the way the world views governance, individual rights, and justice. "The establishment of our new Government seemed to be the last great experiment for promoting human happiness." - George Washington On the United States' 248th birthday, we hope everyone enjoys their day off and gets some much-needed rest and relaxation with family and friends.

As the industry continues to accelerate toward the Pharma 4.0 model, we at Wheeler Bio, Inc. have integrated automation and digitalization tools into our Portable CMC® platform process to bring a new paradigm to CMC development through: ➡ Predictive modelling designed to maximize the value of early development data. ➡ Automated high throughput screening systems to improve development speed and reduce costs. ➡ A hybrid manufacturing record format to smooth the regulatory pathway to IND filing. ➡ Process Analytical Technology (PAT) to significantly derisk programs through real-time monitoring and controls. Check out our new article detailing how we are utilizing digital solutions to overcome traditional development challenges and streamlining the path to IND for biotechs! #Bioprocessing #Biotech #CMC #Automation #Digitalization

Today on Juneteenth, we celebrate the ideal of freedom reaching all Americans at long last. Before this day in 1865, the work, sacrifice, and conflict in pursuit of fulfilling the claims made in the Declaration of Independance that "all men are created equal," and "that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights" had finally materialized. While today does not mark the end of the struggle to achieve this ideal, it does provide an opportunity for us all to appreciate the milestones achieved in its pursuit and recognize the existing divergence between our current state and our ideals. “Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to, and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.” ― Frederick Douglass Happy Juneteenth from all of us at Wheeler Bio, Inc.

Wheeler's own Jesse McCool was invited to share his enthusiasm and the big picture of the growing biomanufacturing industry in Oklahoma. Thank you to the Oklahoma Business Roundtable (Nikela Sappleton and Mark Funke) for hosting this event and assembling the panel for what was a very informative discussion! We also appreciate the commitment from Governor Kevin Stitt and Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell to continuing finding ways to invest in the life sciences industry in Oklahoma including workforce development and marketing! Thanks to the panelists for their inputs: Kathy Cullen, CPA, Mike Smith, Carol Curtis, Ph.D., John Hanak, and Megan Gelmers, MBA

President and CEO at OKLAHOMA BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE

Last week the Oklahoma Business Roundtable hosted its annual membership meeting at Southern Hill CC in Tulsa. We were honored to have both Governor Stitt and Lt. Governor Pinnell address the well-attended membership audience. Both gave excellent overviews of State's business activity and reflected on their optimism for the State's future. Our program featured Dr. Jesse McCool, Kathy Cullen, CPA, Megan Gelmers, Dr. Carol Curtis, Mike Smith and John Hanak. They discussed the evolution and future of the Bio Science industry in Oklahoma and the impact of the Bio Secure Federal legislation. They also discussed Oklahoma's newest organization, Life Science Oklahoma which is a new advocate for the state's dynamic and diverse life sciences and healthcare communities. Dr. McCool is a great advocate for this industry and the future it holds for Oklahoma's economic growth. We appreciate his insight and the conversation with this panel. We also had the opportunity to thank Dave Stewart, CEO of Mid America Industrial Park for his past year as Chairman of the Board and welcome Jeff Davis, Partner in Acorn Growth Companies as our new Board Chair. The Oklahoma Business Roundtable is the State's only economic development support organization helping to move the state forward and we appreciate the great support from our member organizations and the individuals who serve on our Board.

The cornerstone of preclinical development for any biologic lies in its expression, scaling, and ultimately production at-scale. The development of this process for any therapeutic is critical to the success of the program and requires meticulous attention and expertise to create a process capable of scaling while retaining productivity. At Wheeler Bio, Inc., we have developed a robust tech transfer process that facilitates our turnkey Portable CMC® platform. This allows us to get reliable at-scale production estimates from small scale, low-cost experiments. Combined with our "right size" production volumes tailored for preclinical development and clinical supply, our Portable CMC® platform de-risks and accelerates your upstream process development journey. Check out our new blog detailing the Wheeler upstream PD journey and how it can benefit your program! #Biotech #Antibody #CMC #ProcessDevelopment
