Dan Russell is the newest full-time meteorologist at Storm Team 2. Dan is no stranger to Western New York viewers and is joining 2 On Your Side from Spectrum News 1, where he most recently has been working as their AM meteorologist. Welcome Chelsea Swift! Chelsea Swift is joining WGRZ, 2 On Your Side as the team’s newest Multi-Skilled Journalist. Swift was a reporter and a morning anchor at #WJET in Erie, PA since 2020. Jon Scott is joining WGRZ, 2 On Your Side as the station’s new Sports Director. “There is a long-standing tradition of excellence at WGRZ,” Scott said. “I’m incredibly honored and excited to lead the sports department and continue building on the strong coverage that’s been a constant for so long in Western New York.” Scott, who worked at Spectrum News since 2014, was the creator of "Buffalo End Zone" postgame show and co-hosted a podcast by the same name.
