Our focus has always been to offer a full range of quality medical care, dental care, mental health and behavioral health services, and enabling services to underserved people. We do this by placing ourselves within the communities we serve and employing outstanding healthcare professionals who are devoted to our mission. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and are accredited by the Joint Commission for Ambulatory Care and Behavioral Health. We’re also certified by the Joint Commission as a Patient Centered Health Home and a Behavioral Health Home.

WellSpace Health's Chief Programs Officer, Christie Gonzales joined the national Hispanic Elected Local Officials (HELO) and Local Indigenous Leaders (LIL) at their Summer Convening to discuss access to behavioral health services in under-resourced neighborhoods. Gonzales highlighted WellSpace's integrated community health system which unites a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers, Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers, and its 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline to serve more than 1,400 people per day. HELO and LIL are part of The National League of Cities, a 100-year-old organization comprised of city, town and village leaders that are focused on improving the quality of life for their current and future constituents. NLC, HELO, and LIL are currently in Rancho Cordova for their Summer Meeting.
