  • We love hearing from our patients, especially after they've received exceptional and compassionate care from our team. The following are sentiments that a recent patient shared about our team, specifically Kaitlyn McCarter, RN, E.D. "I brought my son to Wellington Regional Medical Center because he was not feeling well. From the moment we entered the facility, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff. First and foremost, the medical team demonstrated unparalleled expertise and dedication in providing care. They took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, ensuring that I felt informed and reassured. Their compassion and attentiveness truly made a difference during what could have been a stressful time. " I must also say that (a particular nurse) was absolutely amazing. She kept my son calm and explained things to him in a manner that was appropriate for a teenager. This nurse is a ROCKSTAR! What truly sets WRMC apart, however, is the genuine sense of compassion and care exhibited by every member of the staff. From the doctors and nurses to the administrative personnel, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my son’s needs were met and that he felt supported every step of the way. Overall, our experience at WRMC was nothing short of exceptional!" Great job Kaitlyn, we're so proud you're a part of the Wellington team and to recognize you as a recent employee of the month!

  • Wellington Regional Medical Center is proud to announce Nandana Palreddy, MHA, RN, as our new Director of Case Management. After graduating from Dr.Y.S.R University of Health Sciences in India in 2011, Nandana worked as a clinician in Medical Surgical nursing and ICU settings. She later migrated to the United States where she continued her academic journey and earned a Master of Science in healthcare administration from the University of New Haven in 2015. Her professional journey in leadership began at Kindred Healthcare in 2017, where she worked as the infection control practitioner. She worked feverishly with physicians, CEO, and clinical leaders to develop multiple customer service initiatives, policies, and procedures to reduce infection rates. During the first year of her tenure, as a change agent, Nandana successfully reduced hospital-acquired infection rates from 47 percent to zero percent, through collaboration and a determination to reduce harm and promote patient safety. Her achievements led the CEO to promote her to the director of case management position in 2019, where she continued to serve internal and external customers as a dedicated and committed servant leader until 2024. We are extremely proud Nandana is a part of the Wellington family and look forward to all of her contributions.
