Yesterday, we celebrated PDI’s 13th annual #BeTheDifferenceDay! To honor this day of service, our PDI associates engaged with various organizations, demonstrating our commitment to improving the lives of our community and customers as #ONEPDI. Service opportunities that our employees engaged in included caring for horses at the BERGEN COUNTY HORSE RESCUE, assembling hygiene kits for Part of the Solution & People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), collecting non-perishable food items for TRI-BORO FOOD PANTRY, tending to vegetable gardens at MAHWAH ENVIRONMENTAL VOLUNTEERS ORGANIZATION INC (MEVO), and walking in support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We also had the opportunity to refuel with Kona Ice (yum!) - we are so proud to have associates who continue to Be The Difference! #BeTheDifference #Service #Volunteer

Today, in honor of Juneteenth, the team at our Woodcliff Lake headquarters had the honor of engaging with Dr. Leslie Wilson, a distinguished Professor of History at Montclair State University and a renowned expert in African American history. Dr. Wilson led an enlightening discussion, delving into the rich history and profound significance of #Juneteenth. Last week, members of our team proudly represented PDI in Washington, D.C. for a crucial day on the hill alongside the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA). With great privilege, they engaged directly with lawmakers, advocating for legislation to streamline medical supply delivery during crises, with discussions centering around the essential FAST PASS Act and the reauthorization of the Pandemic All-Hazards Preparedness Act.
