Happy Juneteenth from Wayside! Juneteenth holds immense historical significance. It commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. -> Read more on the blog about Juneteenth and how gaps in substance use treatment affects the Black community. https://lnkd.in/gWhqsXFr #Juneteenth2024 #HealthEquity #substanceusedisorder

✨Big announcement!✨🥳 Wayside is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) with Lodging Program. This treatment option provides housing and offers women another path to recovery so they can choose what is best for them. Our mission began 70 years ago and still continues today - at Wayside, we #breakthecycle of addiction and trauma for women and their families. Clients enrolled in IOP with Lodging will have housing provided (shared housing with other women in the program) and attend 18 hours of treatment programming a week (Monday-Wednesday, 8 am - 2 pm), in addition to weekly individual therapy. Transportation to programming in St. Paul is provided. Program length is 3-6 months. Wayside is now accepting referrals for a program start of July 1 - call our intake team today at 651-242-5540. **In addition to IOP with Lodging, Wayside offers residential addiction treatment for women and women with their children, an evening virtual IOP program (without housing), supportive housing, and outpatient mental health therapy for women, children, and families.**
