Exciting news: we’ve raised a $100M Series C, led by Greenoaks, and with participation from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, and other existing investors. We’re full speed ahead on our mission to accelerate the climate economy. We now work with companies that manage an estimated 479 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent––more than the annual emissions of France. We’re proud to support them on their work to reinvent their businesses for a zero-carbon world. Read more about what we have in store for our next chapter >> https://lnkd.in/eDZXzCwS

Watershed is on a mission to work with our customers to reduce or remove 500 megatonnes of CO2 equivalent—approximately 1% of annual global emissions—by 2030. Special cheers to the Watershed customers who made this USA TODAY list of US companies that have been most successful in reducing emissions to date, including KKR, Cboe Global Markets, Dell Technologies, Etsy, General Mills, Okta, Sunrun, The Home Depot, Visa, YETI and more! There is so much work to be done, but it's important to celebrate along the way 🎉

Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at a panel at the Scope 3 Innovation Forum alongside inspiring leaders Bertrand Conquéret, Pauline Potter, and Eugenia Ceballos Hunziker. Quick hits: 📜 Give suppliers a clear call to action 🔑 Ask suppliers for targeted information and help build capacity along the way 🏅 Go beyond the good will of the suppliers; inspire them to action with the 'why', 'what' & 'how' 🌏 Embedding sustainability into procurement decisions is the long-term goal that drives consistent, impactful action Thank you to Ian Welsh, Natasha C. Bodnar, and Anita Thomson for the energising two days in Amsterdam, and to Arthur Clack and Anatol Gudenus for partnering with me to represent Watershed! #IFscope3EU24
