Excited to have attended the The Florida Council on Economic Education with my amazing fiancé Catherine Carmona and Wallace Welch & Willingham, as we celebrated the annual inductees to the Tampa Bay Business Hall of Fame. FCEE’s mission is to prepare Florida’s younger generation for personal and financial success through educational programs in economics, the free enterprise system and personal financial literacy so that they become productive members of the workforce, responsible consumers and wise investors. Congratulations to the Class of 2024, and a big shoutout to Joeley Luter and the team for organizing such a fantastic event! #FCEE #EconomicEducation #FinancialLiteracy #WorkforceDevelopment

Hurricane season may not kick off until June 1st, but it is never too early to be prepared for these potentially catastrophic storms. While this article hints at an above average 2024 hurricane season, it's a stark reminder of the unpredictability and destruction these storms can create. https://lnkd.in/ez-g4kYy Here are some proactive measures you and your business can take right now to get ahead of the curve: Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify weak points and take action to minimize potential property damage. Review Insurance Coverage: Confirm your policies offer ample coverage for property, business interruption, and liability. Exploring additional options like flood insurance will enhance your protection. Property Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct routine checks to address any potential issues before they escalate. Emergency Preparedness Plan: Craft a detailed plan outlining protocols for employees, communication strategies, and contingency plans for seamless business continuity. Backup and Data Protection: Safeguard critical data with regular backups to prevent disruptions. Communication Systems: Set up reliable communication channels to keep stakeholders informed before, during, and after a hurricane. Community Resources: Familiarize yourself with local resources and support services offered by authorities and organizations. Stay Informed: Stay vigilant by keeping tabs on weather forecasts and official hurricane warnings. Taking proactive steps to implement these measures empowers businesses to mitigate risks, safeguard their assets, and prioritize the safety of their employees and families throughout hurricane season. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance or resources to bolster your protection.

W3 is spreading Holiday cheer to our local community. Our Community Involvement Committee (CIC) ran a fundraiser to collect money and toys to benefit Pinellas County Foster Care children. Thanks to our staff's generosity, the CIC took in a large amount of individual toy donations as well as $500 in cash. This amount was used to fund a shopping spree, adding even more joy with a multitude of additional toys! 🎁
