🌟 Connecting the right people with the right organizations has the power to transform lives! Hear Yared's story on how Aspire, a program and partnership with Valley of the Sun United Way, led her to a fulfilling career with Equality Health, and the chance encounter that made everything come full circle. 👇
Yered MadRo is a first-gen Latina who transformed her life with the help of Valley of the Sun United Way’s Aspire program. Growing up, she prioritized her siblings over herself but Aspire helped her focus on herself, earn her GED and kick-start her career. MadRo now works at Equality Health and recently reconnected with Tanya Muñiz, VSUW’s chief financial and operating officer, who inspired her during the Aspire program. “Yered made a real point to seek me out and find me,” Muñiz said. “Talking with her was just very inspirational. For her to be so transparent about the challenges that she faced, but also too willing to share all of the success she’s had is going to impact somebody else’s life.” Link: https://lnkd.in/gwSuHePS #Education #Empowerment #LatinaLeaders #CommunityImpact #GivingBack
