Our story dates back to 1956, when families of individuals with disabilities and local manufacturers knew two things; individuals with disabilities were ready and capable to enter the workforce, and there was an overwhelming need for contract packaging services in the Fox Cities area. VPI was established, as a solution to meet both needs. The concept of meeting community needs has guided us in becoming the successful 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that we are today. By providing efficient contract packaging and production services to private industry, with an integrated workforce, VPI has been able to deliver community programing and services to support the changing needs of community members with disabilities or disadvantages. Valley Packaging is the result of a partnership created more than 60 years ago with parents of people with disabilities, local manufacturers, and human service providers. By consistently meeting clients’ and customers’ needs, Valley Packaging has grown into the successful service organization it is today with: over 800,000 sq. ft. of customizable production and employment skills training spaces, large isolated packaging areas, capacity available for growth, high-speed equipment, and a uniquely blended workforce that integrates hundreds of individuals with disabilities with technically trained production workers.

We recently updated the Core Partner Map on our website to include all the great organizations we now distribute core products to, in our new collaboration with United Way Fox Cities. As of July 1st, Jake's Network of Hope will now be co-located at United Way Fox Cities; The Hub, located at the VPI, Inc.'s Kensington production facility. This diaper bank serving Eastern Wisconsin will be known as the Kimberly-Clark - Eastern Wisconsin Diaper Bank. Together, we will work to meet the community’s basic needs for diapers, feminine care, and adult incontinence products. The Jake's NoH team will oversee the Diaper Bank’s daily operations, including product procurement, warehousing, inventory management, partner engagement, and fundraising efforts.
