Today, we had the privilege of welcoming singer-songwriter and founder of Art That Serves, Matt Butler, to VOA’s Liberty Place. His new solo show, ‘Reckless Son’ is a powerful collection of music, monologues, personal history and lessons learned behind bars. The men we serve, who are overcoming substance use disorder and transitioning from incarceration, had the opportunity to meet and sing with Matt. Tonight, they’ll get the chance to join him on stage during his live performance at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts! Thank you, Matt, for your inspiring visit and for empowering our community! #recoveryworks #recoveryispossible #LibertyPlace #nonprofit
