Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Udoaku Lintula, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice. Dr. Udoaku Lintula is a physician with almost 10 years of experience in internal medicine. Dr. Lintula’s mother was the first female plastic surgeon in West Africa and growing up shadowing her, she got to appreciate how important optimizing wound healing after surgeries could be. She was born and raised in Nigeria and lived there most of her childhood then moved to America when she was ten. She completed middle school and high school in New York and New Jersey respectively. Dr. Lintula earned a Bachelor of Science at Tufts University then went on to Atlanta to complete medical school at Morehouse school of Medicine. She finished her training in internal medicine at the University of Colorado. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Paola Palomino-Guillen, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice.    Dr. Paola Palomino graduated as Physician and Surgeon at Universidad Nacional de San Agustin in Arequipa, Peru. She was trained in Hyperbaric Medicine, and she assisted in the management of surgeries and wounds for 4 years and then she moved to United States. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in New York where she was awarded as Best Resident of the year, and she stayed for one more year as Chief Resident. She then accomplished a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and she worked as a Hospitalist for about 2 years in Iowa and Ohio.     Dr. Palomino moved to Virginia and joined Jencare-ChenMed for almost 8 years working as a Hospitalist, Primary Care Provider and then Medical Director. She was awarded several times for her accomplishments and trustworthy relationships with her team members and most importantly, with her patients.     Dr. Palomino is blessed with a supportive husband and 3 amazing kids. They spend their free time with plenty of extracurricular activities including soccer, volleyball, chorus, piano music, etc. They also enjoy visiting their extended family including grandparents and traveling to different places. Vohra wound Physicians welcomes Kay Sill, AGNP-BC, as the latest addition to our practice. Kay Sill was previously a nurse practitioner at Signify Health. A proud graduate of Spring Arbor University, SIU Edwardsville, and Lincoln Land Community College. She was inspired to pursue a career in nursing because of an interest in health and caring for those in need. Prior to working at Signify health, she was the nurse case manager at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL, where she was responsible for assessment of patient’s medical discharge needs and coordinating plans for discharge. Other experience includes being a director of nursing, nurse educator, home health, outpatient surgery, and bedside nursing. In Kay’s free time, she can be found spending time with her family, baking, and staying active. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Timothy Cavanaugh, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice. Dr. Tim Cavanaugh graduated from Princeton University and Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia. He has been practicing as a Family Physician in community health for over 30 years, most recently at Thundermist Health Center in Woonsocket, RI.  He has worked extensively in the area of LGBTQ Health and served as the Medical Director for the Transgender Health Program at Fenway Health in Boston for five and a half years. He considers himself to be a Big Nerd. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Michael Illingworth, M.D., as the latest addition to our practice.    Dr. Illingworth grew up in Southern California where he graduated from California State University, Long Beach. He then received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, returning to California for his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCSF/Fresno.     For 30 years he cared for women in the Fresno area, finally pivoting to the rapidly growing wound care industry which has allowed him more time with his amazing wife, 4 daughters, and 7 grandchildren.     On Friday nights in the fall, you’ll find him on a football field where he has officiated varsity football for 16 years.  Free time means gym time and playing guitar for his canine fans at home.  #woundcare #vohrawoundphysicians #vohra #wound #hiring #healthcarejobs #physicianrecruitment #physicianjobs

Linsey Haney is formerly a nurse practitioner in primary care.  A proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, she was inspired to pursue a career in nursing after volunteering during her summer breaks during high school in a surgical recovery unit at her local hospital. Her fascination with wound healing and dermatology has led her to specialize in this field, where she strives to make a meaningful impact on the lives of her patients by providing effective and personalized treatment plans.  Lauren earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Florida, following her Bachelor of Nursing Science from Grand Valley State University. With nine years of diverse nursing experience, she has honed her skills across multiple specialties, including progressive care, neurological care, surgical care, corrections, and addiction medicine. Her vast clinical background has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and management across various healthcare settings. Outside of her professional pursuits, Lauren is a proud dog mom and an avid lover of the outdoors. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Jessica Rehrig D.O., as the latest addition to our practice.  Dr. Jessica Rehrig was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of Temple University. She obtained her medical degree at the University of New England in Maine. Her internship was at Northwell Health and its affiliated North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Internal Medicine, and her residency at Geisinger's Medical Center in Neurology. Dr. Rehrig is beginning her career with Vohra Wound Physicians. She is a Gold Humanism Honor Society member and received the United States Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Award for her dedication to health promotion and disease prevention within the medical profession. Vohra Wound Physicians welcomes Dr. Renee Keefe D.O., as the latest addition to our practice.    Dr. Keefe grew up in Warren, Michigan and has been interested in science and medicine since childhood. She graduated from Michigan State University earning her B.S. degree in nutritional science, and attended medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. She completed her residency in family medicine in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating in 2020, Renee moved to Ohio to be closer to her family. Her fiancé, Matt, has lived in Toledo his entire life and she has enjoyed putting down her roots there.     Renee enjoys hiking in the local Metroparks with her labrador retriever, Harvey, as well as spending time on Lake Erie or the Maumee River. She also enjoys traveling around the world, seeing new places, and learning about different cultures. Renee particularly enjoys visiting historical sites as well as hiking through areas of natural beauty.
