This past week, we hosted local students interested in #STEM careers. We provided tours of our locations, processes and technologies. They met with some of our Engineering, Quality, IT and Tool Room experts to not only learn what we do but also how STEM careers exist in #manufacturing and impact global innovations.

It's been almost two years since we broke ground on our new state of the art production hall. Here's a drone video from Hatfield Media showcasing the completed Brooks Hall on the exterior. What's going on inside? Technologies are being commissioned, employees are moving in and we are preparing for our Grand Opening Celebration, reserved for local employees and retirees, later this summer. Brooks Hall was named after the founding family, the Brooks family, who started RFC in 1947.

This morning we hosted tours of both our commercial and aerospace divisions for the attendees of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association World-Class Roll Forming Workshop. We hope we were good hosts and we wish them a successful event!

voestalpine Metal Forming Division's #HealthandSafety Days is underway across all RFC locations. voestalpine metal forming companies are participating in this world-wide event to highlight high-hazard areas and reinforce proper safety procedures. This campaign adds to our existing inter-dependent safety culture where safety is considered non-negotiable and we are constantly looking for ways to improve.

Just a few weeks away, the FMA World-Class Roll Forming Workshop will be held in Louisville, Kentucky this year and once again we are proud to participate. We are hosting a tour as well as have some of our subject matter experts as featured speakers. For more information: https://lnkd.in/eigDjVNF

Some of our employees participated in the Heroes at Bat charitable softball tournament this past weekend at Shelbyville/Shelby County Parks and Recreation Clear Creek Park. Thanks to our fans of family members, current employees and retirees for coming out to support the team and to our employees from several divisions and departments for taking the time over the weekend in supporting the mission of this organization. Heroes at Bat formed in 2023 in the spirit of bringing together 1st Responders and those in recovery. #TogetherWeCare

We've recently flooded our internal employee newsletter with pictures spotlighting the women of RFC. As pictures keep rolling in, we thought we would share these photos on social media of the amazing women in manufacturing - across all RFC locations and various departments including Finance & Accounting, Production Planning, Operations, HR, Safety, Quality, Sales, Purchasing, Lean, Aerospace, Sales and Marketing & Communications. #WomensHistoryMonth honors the achievements and contributions that women of all backgrounds have made throughout history and RFC joins in that recognition and celebration of the women who anchor the success of the organization and its customers.

It’s difficult trying to take a photo of the entire team when they are so busy at the #Modex show. Not everyone is in the booth at the same time. Yesterday we celebrated some of our Roll Operator Apprentice Graduates where they have officially completed 4,000 on the job hours of training. When asked about the benefits of the #Apprenticeship Program, the Roll Operators said it's a win-win program for them and the company where they get to take the time to slow down and really learn the process, learn different perspectives, ultimately making their jobs easier, and better for the customer, and allowing them to bridge the gap with new talent. Congrats Carter, Todd, Charlie, Marshall and Ethan on your new certification levels!
