“The 340B program is as flawed in Virginia as it is nationwide. Without protections in place, the 340B program will continue to fail in its intended purpose, and hospitals and major pharmacies will continue to charge patients far more than even the non-340B base price for prescriptions.” Read more in Delegate Phil Scott’s new Richmond Times-Dispatch opinion about how hospitals and major pharmacies are abusing the #340B program and raking in profits from a program intended to help vulnerable patients access critical health care. Thank you to Governor Glenn Youngkin for standing up for Virginia patients and vetoing legislation that would have expanded #340B in the Commonwealth. Keep reading: https://bit.ly/4cXKFt5
